I want to see the WINDS OF CHANGE
I want to make the impossible POSSIBLE
I want to create harmony in the environment of animosity
"PARIVARTAN -- Winds of Change" was the community I started on ORKUT http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#Community?rl=cpn&cmm=58309538 to bring all fellow Indians on one platform to share their ideas so that we make India a better country. I failed to gather many people into joining me in this campaign. Then i thought I should write blogs to share my views with the world but I found very few followers. Then one fine day TIMES OF INDIA started Lead India campaign which gave me a platform to share my views and I was happy when views of my blog "National v/s Regional Parties" became a reality in last Elections. In recent past The Times of India and Jang group from Pakistan came with a novel idea "AMAN KI ASHA".... and I was overwhelmed joining it and again making friends with my neighbours ... a thing which I did with Yahoo chat few years back though it was spoiled by Kargil War and Terrorists Bomb blasts.
Now, I am feeling PARIVARTAN of another kind. The winds of change our blowing (though on a slower pace) but not to change INDIA only but also its neighbour... its kid brother...PAKISTAN. I am confident that there will come a day when we will bury our past and work hard in present to make a harmonious future. These Winds of Change will blow not as a fad but as a permanent fashion. It will blow strong and hard and change mindset of the people of both the nations and make them tolerant and respect each others culture, religion and sovereignty. Also these winds of change should sweep away all those fanatics..hardliners to oblivion.
AMAN KI ASHA ....... you will be a reality. I hope all Indians and Pakistanis who share my view will pray and lit this candle of Hope and not let it burn off...
HAIL INDIA ... HAIL PAKISTAN ... HAIL HARMONY ...
HAIL PEACE & LOVE ... HAIL HUMANITY.
Aman ki Asha is indeed one of the best peace initiative i have ever seen. Media plays a very important role in any country. And withs its power bringing the people under a common umbrella it has been able to make its existence known to large no. of people on both side.
ReplyDeleteAgreed that people have become friends and are much prepared than before to atleast look at a situation from other's point of view or others's perspective. Now it is very welcome development bcoz we all have realized by now that without any flexibility none of the issues can be solved. But theirs no. is miniscule. And from its objective point of view it is almost negligible.
Aman ki Asha has organised many meets and shows on both side in last few months. But they need to come up with some programs which will encourage the normal citizens to participate and make friends. The main objective here is to understand and get to knw each other. I have been in AKA since last 5 months. And from my experience, I can say that twice or thrice chatting with a person of other country is not enough. The group has to be more active with people coming on and the interaction between them shud not stop.
Attitude towards each other shud change and only then we can think of having Aman in the sub-continent.
